Bellarine Campus, Drysdale
Years Prep to 9
Since its inception in 1996 Christian College Bellarine has established a fine reputation for providing students on the Bellarine Peninsula with outstanding educational opportunities. All the features that make Christian College a unique school where character development and striving for excellence go hand in hand with a caring, supportive environment, are available for your child at the Bellarine campus. The siting of the Campus in Drysdale allows for convenient access by College bus from all areas of the Bellarine Peninsula and East Geelong.
The Learning Environment Underpinned by Christian foundations, our philosophy endeavours to provide each student with a caring and disciplined environment that allows each child to feel valued and secure. Students are encouraged and challenged to contribute positively to their education in order to achieve success and to develop positive self esteem.
The Educational Programme The broad based academic program, along with extra curricula activities which are provided in a community atmosphere, foster a shared ‘partnership’ between the College and families of our students.
The current enrolment of 400 students is structured into separate Junior and Middle Schools. Each of these has a unique atmosphere and focus under the leadership of dedicated teaching staff.
Community Involvement It is important for Bellarine students to be involved in community life and service in the local area. Local festivals, church services and environmental projects are ways in which our students become involved, whilst the Year 8 Links programme gives students ‘first-hand’ experiences of the vital service organizations that are an intrinsic part of a thriving community.
