At Junior School, Belmont, Years Prep to 4 provide young students with the vital foundations of learning in a nurturing learning environment. Emphasis is placed on the important development of literacy and numeracy skills through a balanced approach using the latest Early Years Learning strategies in addition to well regarded aspects of formal learning.
Caring, enthusiastic staff provide each student with learning opportunities that not only meet the individual strengths and weaknesses of each student, but provide motivational learning experiences that are '‘hands-on" and enjoyable.
In our Junior School, learning is a journey of discovery through integrated studies of Society, The Environment, Wonders of Science and Health issues.
Specialist staff specifically trained in their field of expertise also offer weekly studies in Information Technology, Physical Education, Art, Music, Library and L.O.T.E. (Japanese commencing in Year 1).
The Junior School provides each student with a sound base of skills and character development based on Christian values in preparation for the challenges of Middle School studies.
