Academic opportunities, friendships and a faith journey all play an integral part in the Year 7 experience at Christian College. Secondary education is a new and exciting chance to explore and extend individual skills, talents and uniqueness. 

Setting a high standard of pastoral care and academic excellence are two of the goals set by the Year 7 team of staff. The Homeroom teacher is a major support person in the life of the students as they teach Mathematics, English and Christian Education, in addition to Daily Devotions. A strong relationship and safe, nurturing environment is maintained.

 A broad range of core subject areas is studied by the students including Mathematics, English, Humanities , Christian Education,  Japanese, Indonesian, Visual Art, ICT, Home Economics, Music, Health and a varied Physical Education and Sports program.

 Students are encouraged to excel in all areas of their studies. Learning is complimented by the use of technology and collaborative learning in the classroom environment.
