Christian Education

The Christian faith is the foundation upon which Christian College is based.  Students learn within an atmosphere of care and concern for others as they develop Christian character. Honesty, integrity, compassion, respect and tolerance underpin all interaction within the College.

In Christian Education students are encouraged to explore, understand and grow within the Christian faith as expressed in Scripture - to know that there is a personal God who loves and cares for them. From Prep to Year 12, students are involved in meaningful prayer, worship services and the study of Scripture as it applies to daily life in today’s society.

At the Senior School, students continue to be involved in daily devotions and may choose Religion and Society, Units 1 -4 as part of their VCE studies. All students in Year 11 are required to complete one unit of Religion and Society – Ethics. This enables our senior students to become involved in recognizing and responding to decisions and ideas that reflect a Christian perspective on current issues facing society in the 21st century.

‘Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’                   Jeremiah 33:3
