At Year 10 level the elective study – Our World, My Responsibility is designed to enable students to experience at first hand, issues involving different communities, either in aboriginal communities in Central Australia or within East Timor.

Living within these communities, communicating with different age groups and contributing to the life of the community enables students to learn about complex issues and to consider possible solutions for the future.

Students respond to the needs of others less fortunate than themselves and often discover that materialism does not always guarantee a happy or successful life. Finding satisfaction and joy in service for others is a vital aspect of a Christian College education.
