Science

In our world God allows us to explore, enjoy and actively interact with the universe that He has created. At Christian College, through the study of Science, students develop an interest in the exceptional order and balance evident in their natural and physical surroundings.

Students are encouraged to become aware of the connections between science and people, and to note the relevance of science and technology to past achievements, as well as to current and future developments in our world. Students explore the impact of scientific discovery and technology on society, the individual and the environment.

The study of Science is a core subject from Years Prep to 10. In the Middle Schools, Marine Studies, Environmental Science and/or Horticulture are offered as elective studies.  Participation in National Science competitions encourages scientific thinking as it applies to particular problems and challenges.

At VCE levels Christian College students may choose studies in Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Psychology.
