Information Technology

Throughout each student’s educational journey, Information Technology is seen as a valuable tool – in research, analysis and presentation. As technology develops we recognize the need for students to upgrade their skills and be able to utilise them in many areas of the curriculum.

Christian College recognizes the importance of facilitating student access to current technology whilst implementing policies to ensure the appropriate, responsible use of computers and digital multi-media equipment.

With the introduction of laptop usage into Primary and Middle School classrooms, opportunities to enhance students' learning in many areas through technology has increased greatly.

At all levels of Junior and Middle School, weekly classes are dedicated to learning the skills and using computer software as part of work across a variety of subject areas. Wide-ranging research, presentation, design and analytical problem solving are all enhanced by IT skills.

At VCE level students are able to choose Information Technology Units - 4
