All donations to the Community Access Scholarship program help make a tangible difference to the lives of young people. This assistance extends to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, those experiencing hardship or simply to support existing families who have met with unforeseen circumstances. These scholarships demonstrate a culture of giving and provide hope for our future generations.
All donations made to the Christian College Geelong Scholarship Fund are tax deductible.

The Salvation Army Scholarship

These scholarships are offered to students involved in a variety of The Salvation Army programs such as the ‘Just Brass’ program. These young people come from family circumstances and socio-economic situations that would normally preclude them from enrolment at Christian College.

The Cultural Scholarship

Our heart for those less fortunate than ourselves has its roots in our Christian faith. In recent years a number of refugees or displaced families from crisis areas around the world have resettled in the Geelong region. It has been a joy to be able to offer some places for children from these families at our College. Through the provision of a Christian College education we can assist future generations and foster hope and purpose for their future.

Sponsored Student Placements

Life can sometimes present us with unexpected challenges. Through our Sponsored Student Placement program we can ensure our students maintain a stable educational experience should life take an unexpected turn. We are also able to offer some support to families who would not otherwise be able to afford a Christian College education.

Students and staff currently involved in the Community Access Scholarship Program have endorsed its effectiveness:

Words cannot begin to describe how many opportunities I have received from the Christian College Geelong scholarship...I have been offered opportunities that I would have never thought would happen to me, such as becoming a College Prefect and developing a very large knowledge in music. - Scholarship student

Having cultural diversity in the classroom is so important for us and benefits all students. They share some of their story and this has a profound impact. The students have an incredible and infectious work ethic which 'rubs off' on our students and sets a new standard… - Year Level Co-ordinator

An Opportunity to Contribute

We look forward to College families, former students, and those in our community who identify with the benefits of these programs, to partner with the Foundation to ensure that young people from all walks of life have the opportunity to experience and benefit from a Christian College Geelong education.

All donations made to the Christian College Geelong Scholarship Fund are tax deductible.
