The Art, Design and Technology Extravaganza opened with huge success on Wednesday night and provided the 300+ crowd an extensive variety of artworks, created by students from Kindergarten through to Year 12.
The Villa Paloma was the setting and perfect backdrop for the students’ artwork which filled every wall and room, creating a broad array of visually engaging pieces.
Robotics, fashion and textiles through to sculptures, multi-media and woodwork plus so many more mediums are on show until the 9th of November.
On the opening night guest artist- Mark Trinham officially opened the Extravaganza and encouraged the crowd of families and students to always follow their passion within the arts.
The guests were also treated on Wednesday night to a fashion parade of students' textile work and on Thursday night, a presentation of the media short films were shown.
The Art Design and Technology faculty are to be congratulated on organising such a professional event.
Well done to all the students who made sure their pieces of work were completed and were of such a high quality for the display.
The Christian College community are so proud of the students and their Art, Technology & Design pieces that are on display and encourage the public to enjoy the show while it is open.
