The last two days of Term 2 has seen the staff collaborating and participating in the annual Staff Retreat.
The Staff Retreat brings employees from every campus together for a time of reflection and self-development, nurturing Christian faith and to worship together.
The retreat commenced on Wednesday night at Barrobool Hills church with guest speaker John Dickson exploring the question ‘Would we be better off without Christianity?’ His talk definitely challenged staff and evoked much thought on the topic.
This year’s retreat focused on ‘Equipping Ourselves to Work Christianly’.
The 2015 Christian College Staff Retreat contained 4 main components:
- A time to reflect and nurture Christian faith and to worship together
- Time to look closely at our teaching and work together from a deeper Christian perspective
- Fellowship and fun, enjoying the company of our colleagues
- and the celebration and acknowledgement of our colleagues’ contributions to the College over dinner
The Staff Retreat was again, a great success for everyone involved.
