The students of Christian College Geelong Bellarine and Junior Schools are delighted to have the opportunity to exhibit their artwork alongside artists and craftspeople in the ‘Geelong Community Reef from Craft to Coral’ community focused exhibition.
This artistic exhibition at the Shearers’ Arms Visual Arts Centre, 202 Aberdeen Street, Geelong West is a journey by various artists to raise awareness of the unique environment of Port Phillip Bay.
Year Prep through to Year 8 students have created a variety of individual and collaborative artworks. A diverse selection of mediums and materials has been used to develop this exciting array of 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional art works.
Being able to exhibit their work is an integral part to the students learning, and having the opportunity to do so in a public setting is a wonderful affirmation of their hard work and artistic abilities.
The Craft to Coral Exhibition is open to the public 13th February - 16th March 2013 at the Shearers Arms Visual Arts Centre. 202 Aberdeen Street, Geelong West.
Tues to Fri: 11am – 5pm
Sat , Sun: 1pm –4pm
We encourage family and friends to support our aspiring artists and enjoy their displays at the gallery while the exhibition is showing.
