It was Book Week from August 17th - 23rd across Australia and our College took part with all campuses running different activities. These events were held to encourage students to read, learn more about books and to realise the importance of literature within their lives.
The junior students at Bellarine and Belmont held a Book Character Parade where students and staff dressed up in their favourite book character costume.
Middle School ran class activities that focused on different books and helped them gain a greater knowledge of what they were reading.
Senior School ran daily quiz questions through the bulletin and also launched the new 'Kobo Ereaders' available for students to borrow!
Whilst participating in valuable educational activities and having fun together, this week also provided a wonderful opportunity to create enthusiasm for all kinds of literature. It also encouraged the students innate love of books and reading and was enjoyed by all.
