Throughout this semester the Year 3 and 4 classes have been working on a 'Living Things' unit of study in Integrated Studies. The students were required to create a multi-faceted project to be presented at an Expo as a culmination of the unit.
The Bellarine students’ work consisted of habitat dioramas, informative slide shows, picture storybooks, posters and much more. Many of the students dressed in character for the Expo, which was very well attended by parents and students from other Year Levels. Those fortunate enough to visit the Expo were most impressed by the enthusiasm and creativity exhibited by the students involved.
It was the culmination to a great term of learning and a wonderful example of the enquiry-based learning taking place throughout the Junior School.
