This week, Junior School enjoyed visitors during their fitness program from four Year 12 Senior School students.
The Year 12 students assisted Year 2 students with a skipping activity as a part of their daily morning fitness program.
Junior School has been conducting the morning fitness ritual for 3 years now to help promote ‘blood flow’ to increase alertness as the students start their school day. This helps promote a readiness to learn as they prepare for Period 1 and the day ahead. The social benefits of children interacting and supporting each other whilst they participate are also positive outcomes of the fitness sessions.
Having the Senior students down at Junior School was a great opportunity for them to contribute to the life of Christian College.
