The non-profit organisation Sea Shepherd visited Christian College Bellarine last month to inform Year 5 to 9 students of their work on the high seas.
250 students were awed by the passion and commitment that the Sea Shepherd crew and management put into their mission to raise awareness about treatment of certain animals of the sea.
One of the Sea Shepherd ships- the Steve Irwin is docked at Williamstown for maintenance at the moment
The public are invited to tour the ship for free on weekends. The Sea Shepherd visit to the College certainly raised awareness and prompted simple yet effective action amongst the staff and students.
