To commemorate ANZAC Day, all our campuses held simultaneous services on Monday.
Anzac Day marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War, and it is always important for our students to learn and acknowledge the significance of this day.
It was heart-warming to see many of the students lead and participate in these moving services in such a confident and respectful manner.
A big thank you to all the staff and students who were involved in the planning and running of these services – they certainly reflected the true spirit of this occasion.
In addition to the on-campus services, our College’s Senior School choir also had the opportunity to play a part in the All Schools ANZAC Day Service, where they put on an amazing performance.
The Senior School choir also had the special chance to represent the Geelong community at the first ever Geelong ANZAC Dawn Service on Tuesday. The students woke early to participate in the service held at the Eastern Beach foreshore at 6am.
