CC Eagles Basketball Club

Welcome to the 2014 Winter Season. Basketball is a popular sport with 38 teams and 315 players playing for the Christian College Eagles. Under the guidance of Head Basketball Coach, Jamie O’Loughlin the club has developed an excellent reputation for encouraging players to participate at appropriate levels, opportunity to participate in training and opportunity to develop junior talent.

The CC EAGLES Basketball Club is open to players of all ages and abilities. Players not attending Christian College Geelong and Senior Players are catered for as well as current CCG Students.

Eagles New Coach!

The Christian College Eagles Basketball Club is excited to announce the appointment of Nicole Gynes (formerly Hunt) to the position of Head Basketball Coach.

Nicole is a former Australian Opal squad member, AIS Scholarship Holder and Captain of the Australian U19 Gems team. She has played 160 games in the WNBL and has played under coaches such as former Australian Olympic Coach, Carrie Gaff.

Over the past 7 years Nicole has been actively coaching junior and senior level basketball teams in Melbourne, Canberra and Geelong.

We welcome Nicole to the Club and know that her wealth of experience will be an asset as we continue to build on the foundation set by our departing coach Jamie O’Loughlin.
