It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

The Christian College Bellarine Campus has been invited to be involved in the City of Greater Geelong’s Christmas tree decoration program for Geelong schools.
The decorative trees will form part of the city’s ‘Christmas in Geelong’ festive offerings this year. Our tree will be featured alongside other Geelong schools in the Little Malop Street Mall.
The Bellarine art students, as part of their Collaborative Construction unit have presented a unique Christmas tree design on a large three metre tall wooden tree.

This project has involved students from different levels, Prep to Year 6, participating, collaborating, problem solving and being challenged to think creatively and divergently about the true story of Christmas.

From a spiritual perspective we feel privileged to have been given an opportunity to reflect on and express visually our beliefs about the Christmas message of hope and love of God shown to us.

It is a festive time of year and it is exciting to be a part of these celebrations.
