Long Term Exchange - Indonesia

Exciting times in the LOTE - Indonesian faculty! Christian College currently has three Year 11 students in Lombok on long term exchange. Michael Little, Cathy De Rosso and Mia Godwill arrived in Lombok last Saturday and will be living there for the next 6 weeks. Our students are attending school 6 days a week at our sister school SMAN 2 Mataram, and are living with host families. This is such an amazing experience for the students involved as they will be fully immersed in Indonesian daily life. Not only will it improve their language skills but also their cultural understanding and awareness.

As of the 17th of December we will also have one of our newly graduated Year 12 students, Rosie Murphy, arriving in Lombok to work at our sister school as the language assistant. Rosie will be living and working in Lombok at SMAN 2 Mataram for 2.5 months.

We wish our students well with these cultural endeavours, and look forward to hearing of their experiences in 2017.
