2017 Victorian School Sport Teams Trials - Year 5 & Year 6

‘Team VIC’ trial process for Year 5 and 6 Students.

There are opportunities throughout 2017 for Year 5 and 6 students to trial for Victorian School Sport teams in a range of individual and team sports.

The selection process for “Team Vic” teams is designed to progressively reduce the number of students remaining after each stage, so only the very best students from across Victoria attend the State trials in Melbourne.

Even though it is expected that all students will learn something through participating in the process, the trial is not to be used as a learning experience.

There are some variation in the trial process; the details below relate to Cricket, AFL, Netball, Basketball and Football (Soccer).

Cricket

Entries must be submitted online by Teachers, rather than parents.

Miss Hoiles at the Bellarine Campus and Mrs Bishop at the Highton Campus will be speaking with students this week to confirm the level of interest and ability of students.

Entries close on February 24, with a maximum of 3 Boys teams per school to attend, and no limit on the number of girls.
