Year 2 and Year 6 BLP Buddy Task

Last week all of the children from Year 2 and Year 6 spent some time renewing their 'buddy' friendships from their Prep year while, collaborating on a challenge activity.

They were given some newspaper, tape and a marble - and were then asked to create the longest marble run possible with the materials available. Working together, groups of students stretched their 'Building Learning Power' muscles to design and build their marble runs.

They exercised their collaboration, imagination and absorption muscles in an effort to make links to solve and create. The students displayed how effectively they could take an idea and turn it into a reality.

This proved to be a most engaging activity, which highlighted the students' talents and capabilities in a variety of different areas.
