Harmony Day at Senior School

The LOTE teachers would like to thank all who supported them for the 'Harmony Day' lunch on Tuesday.

Japanese food and Indonesian drinks were available to purchase and there was the opportunity for students and staff to take part in a dance workshop and to play Angklung. All funds raised will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross and Lion King Orphanage in Singaraja, Bali.

Harmony Day celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity and is about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. The aim is to communicate the importance of cultural diversity - encourage values, promote participation and provide fun ways to learn.

Thank you - terima kasih - arigatougozaimasu.
