Prep Excursion - Back Creek Farm

Prep students braved the cold this week on their Back Creek Farm excursion to experience a wonderful range of farm activities, run by their capable year 9 reading buddies. Some of the activities included, collecting eggs from the hen house then making their own scrambled eggs, visiting three week old calves and lambs and if you were really lucky getting a kiss from a very friendly alpaca, Fraggle! The highlight for most however was the hay bale ride, resulting in straw been bought home for Show and Tell and a fair amount of mud from splashing in puddles. A big thank you to all of the parents that were able to support the Preps.
