Outdoor and Environmental Studies camp - Wilson’s Promontory

“Last week 14 Year 9 girls from the Outdoor and Environmental Studies elective travelled to Wilson’s Promontory National Park for a four-day bushwalking trip. This class have been studying the biodiversity, management practices, historical and contemporary uses, and future management issues of the park. The girls were blessed with wonderful weather and encountered stunning views and abundant wildlife. They all came away with not only a greater understanding and appreciation of the natural world, but also learnt to become more resourceful, independent, and interdependent young adults.”
