Christian College greatly values RUOK Day, which aims to raise the awareness of mental health in our community. The day includes both staff and students participating in special designated activities during breaks and devotions, and seeks to reduce the stigma often associated with mental health issues as well as encouraging people to look out for one another and to seek help when it is needed.
Our school supports the work of Headspace and its role in assisting young people and raising the awareness of mental health issues in our community however there will be no need for students to bring a gold coin donation for this event.
Students will come in casual dress on Monday, 12th September wearing something YELLOW for the day. (Please note: the date for RUOK Day at Junior School differs from other campuses due to clashes with Yr. 1 Camp and the Year 4 Bike Ride.)
