On Friday, 21st October our Prep students participated in their Prep Camp experience. The rain could not dampen the excitement and enthusiasm of students as they travelled to Werribee Zoo to take part in a Safari Adventure. They were able to see first hand what animals need to survive as part of their Integrated Studies Unit. It was very amusing to see the Gorilla actually made his own shelter from the rain! Students participated in an educational lesson with Zoo staff and met some native reptiles including a Blue Tongue Lizard. They also experienced the Zoo Safari and became Habitat detectives. Upon returning to school students danced the afternoon away with Mr Smith in the lead. A shared dinner in the Chapel was a highlight followed by pyjamas and a movie before camp came to a close.
