Activity Week In The Middle School

What an amazing blessing it has been this week to celebrate the end of a busy year with a range of fun and challenging activities.

Year 7 and Year 8 began the week enjoying our beautiful coastlines, with Year 7's walking from Point Lonsdale Lighthouse to Queenscliff Lighthouse and the Year 8's walking along the Surf Coast. Students were able to appreciate their environment as well as a time of fellowship with one another.

Tuesday saw a great day of community service, with students working together with their teachers to help clean and tidy various areas of the school as well participate in a range of fun activities.

The sun was shining for us on Wednesday when our Year 5, 6 & 8 students visited Adventure Park and our Year 7 students had the pleasure of spotting dolphins as they travelled to Sorrento on the ferry, to spend time as a group, celebrating the year that has been.

The House Challenge was a great success on Thursday, with students in Years 4, 7 & 8 working alongside each other to compete in various challenges, from designing and creating the most interesting team mascot through to making a delicious Apple Rose Tart in the Food Technology area. The students cheered each other on as they worked through each task and showed great encouragement to one another.

It has certainly been an action packed week to close what has been another fantastic school year at the Bellarine Campus.
