Partnering with Parents - Educational Seminar and Social Supper

Parents and Educators working together to assist our young people in safely navigating Middle School and the adolescent years.

All Middle School parents and guardians from Year 5 to Year 9 (both new and existing) are warmly invited and encouraged to attend our first Educational Seminar and Social Supper, to be held on Tuesday, February 14 commencing at 7pm in the Sports and Aquatic Centre.

As a school community, we believe in the importance of working together with families to assist our young people in safely and positively navigating the academic, social, emotional and digital challenges of the adolescent years. Imperative in this, is the ongoing dialogue with educators, parents and students.

We hope that this presentation will provide valuable information and understanding, while also initiating further discussion between you and your young person at home. We warmly invite parents/guardians of all students to join us for what promises to be an informative and insightful evening.

We will also frame the broader teaching and learning changes at Christian College, preparing your child for the 21st Century, cover year level specific information - as well as outline some of the new initiatives, upcoming events and student expectations for 2017.

Following the seminar we offer the opportunity to meet homeroom and specialist teachers over a social supper in the Gallery, while mingling with other College families.

I look forward to seeing you there.

Kind regards,

Mr Tony Costa

Head of Campus
