Partnering with Parents - Educational Seminar
A reflection on the evening from Christian College parent in attendance, Brian Long.
The challenges parents and children face each and every day can be both daunting and trying, especially when it comes to education. May I say that attending the Middle School Highton ‘Partnering with Parents-Educational Seminar’ showed a degree of understanding and commitment by the staff that is truly admirable.
The various Year Level Heads spoke with passion and enthusiasm on the year ahead for all students and staff of the College.
As a parent, to be engaged in the College's plans for supporting both the academic and well-being of all students demonstrates the College’s desire to constantly take the next step in being at the forefront of education and - just as important - the best possible ways to nurture and grow all of the students.
All staff are to be congratulated. There was such a huge presence across the campus, and their attendance provided the opportunity to liaise, socialise and of course discuss the year ahead together for our children.
After attending the evening, I feel assured that not just my son - but all students attending Christian College - will receive the best possible guidance to excel. Not just academically but in all aspects of life.
To those parents and guardians unable to attend this week’s seminar, may I say you have missed an extremely educational and detailed assessment of the future initiatives the College has developed to enhance the future of all enrolled students.
It was truly an outstanding and educational evening!
