GISSA Cricket Success
Our College was well represented last Monday at the 2017 GISSA Cricket Competition for our Senior and 'Inter' (Years 9 and 10) teams. The Inter team played some excellent cricket, with contributions coming from all team members over the course of the day. This team finished a very creditable second to St Ignatius College.
Our Senior team played Kardinia IC in their Grand Final, and won convincingly. After a very good bowling (Cian Foster 2/2 off 4 overs) and fielding performance - which restricted Kardinia to 72 runs off their 20 overs - our top-order batsmen (James Jirik, Oscar Hill, Nathan Pearson and Lachlan Vivian) comfortably passed this total with 10 overs to spare.
