Message From The Chaplain
We celebrated 'World Day of Prayer' last Friday.
It was a day where we encouraged your children to think about the amazing value of prayer in daily life. The children in junior school wrote prayers on figures of people who represented a loved one. Our students love to pray for you - parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters - for they feel you will benefit from such prayers. This was a day where we highlight prayer, but be encouraged that you can pray anytime and anywhere.
Here are a couple of verses from the Bible that encourage us all to pray:
12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
18 The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
Also, World Day of Prayer gave our new school Captains an opportunity to be involved in the St James Church prayer service in Drysdale. The Captains, Johanna Hall and Samuel Blomfield, played a significant role in the service reading certain reflections from the order of service and representing our College within the local community.
Please remember that if you need to discuss an issue in your life, I am always willing and consider it a privilege in having a chat with you.
