House Swimming Championship Success
There was a wonderful community spirit at our Prep to Year 9 House Swimming Championships on Tuesday, with warm weather and a large crowd of parents, grandparents and friends setting the backdrop.
Participation levels were excellent in all areas of the program, from the Championship events in the main pool, to the Junior and Middle School Novelty events. Students are to be congratulated for their efforts. Student support and encouragement of one another, along with the House comradery, were highlights and contributed greatly to the success of the day.
Congratulations to Penman House, who were victorious in the overall standing and took out the title for 2017. We look forward to our House Athletic Carnival on Friday, March 24, where each House will once again be looking for maximum participation and determination from each of its members.
