Pop Up Cafe - Year 9 Food Technology

The first Food Technology 'Pop Up Café' for 2017 was received extremely well at the end of a sunny, warm week - serving up delicious, healthy icy poles to the Bellarine and Middle School students.

The Year 9 class investigated seasonal fruits, tested and trialed many different flavour combinations, and calculated the ingredient costings for the bulk production before they could determine a sale price for each product. The students thoroughly enjoyed the entire process of the design brief and gaining insights into running a small business.
