During Play Based Learning, a group of students discussed the different sounds objects made while creating at the craft table.
This led to a range of instruments being made, music written and a performance. Nerves were overcome as an excited audience were privileged to hear the sounds of the 'Prep S Band'. The range of learning and development of skills was evident in the student collaboration, through independent creation of the instruments, organisation of a band, writing of the music and performing for the remaining Preps and teachers.
This demonstrates the excellent thinking platform that Play Based Learning provides. Who knows, Carnegie Hall next?
