This year, as part of the Federal Government National Benchmark Assessments in Literacy and Numeracy, students at Christian College - along with other students across Australia - will participate in state-based standardised assessments to monitor trends in these learning areas.
In Australia, all students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 complete a National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) test conducted by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority. These tests and assessments are used to monitor trends in these learning areas.
The testing dates are Tuesday, 9th May, Wednesday 10th May, and Thursday 11th May.
Christian College uses these NAPLAN Tests as one of a wide range of student tests and assessment tasks to measure the progress and skill development of your young person. These results will be made available in Term 3.
Students in Year 3 are asked to ensure that they are at school on time on each of these days. Thank you.
