Investing in our Leaders - SRC Conference

On Wednesday, 3rd May, the Christian College SRCs and Mrs. Brame bundled into a minibus on a trip to GPAC.

Why?

To learn about how young people can raise awareness, be creative and to get their voices heard. Once there, they met students from schools from all around Geelong. Then it was into the Playhouse Theatre to listen to various speakers from all over. They spoke about how they could make a difference to the environment and how to be noticed a lot more. Stalls were visited, lunches were eaten and notes were taken. The SRCs took away a valuable lesson: do not let anyone stand in your way, get people behind you and never be afraid!
