Jesus In The Modern World - Sleepout

On Thursday, 15th May, students and staff braved the cold and slept out in the Penman Quad to raise awareness for the homeless in our community.

This idea came from the Year 10 'Jesus in The Modern World' students and was well supported by the Senior School community. The aim of the night was to raise awareness for the homeless commnity, and the way these people are perceived, acknowledged and treated by society.

Those who participated in the sleepout enjoyed music by the Senior School Band and a soup and bread dinner, provided by the Year 11 VCAL students. On the Friday morning, everyone particpated in an exercise and yoga session, and a delicous warm pancake breakfast.
