Life Drawing Classes

This term, the Art, Technology and Design faculty provided interested students with an opportunity to receive additional tuition to improve their manual drawing skills.

These 'Life Drawing' classes were held at the Villa Paloma Campus and were offered to Year 10, 11 and 12 students. The study of drawing can be an enjoyable and rewarding experience for students of all ages. It can improve observational skills, visual literacy skills, concentration, perseverance, hand-eye coordination, physical dexterity and self-esteem.

Sound drawing skills can also provide students with a firm foundation on which to confidently explore and communicate ideas and experiences. A strong drawing folio is also an essential prerequisite for most art and design-related Tertiary interviews.
