We are eSmart

It is with pride that our College can announce that we are now officially an 'eSmart school', a status which applies across all of our campuses.

The eSmart Program is a school accreditation program administered by the Alannah and Madeline Foundation. The program has the goal of assisting schools to develop and maintain policies and activities that improve the way they manage cyber safety, bullying and cyberbullying.

Christian College has an ongoing commitment to ensuring students, staff and the wider school community are well supported to be smart, safe and responsible users of digital technology.

A significant part of the process of accreditation has been the formulation of a school-wide eSmart policy. This policy provides guidance to students and teachers in the area of safe use of digital technology and will be reviewed periodically. The policy has been developed in consultation with student, teacher, parent and other community representatives and is available via the ‘Policies’ area of the SEQTA portal.

All members of the school community are encouraged to continue to uphold and promote eSmart behaviours at the College and at home. If you are aware of any incidents of bullying, cyberbullying or risky online behaviour, please contact you respective Head of Campus or Deputy Head of Campus, Year Level Coordinators or Homeroom Teacher.
