Immunisation and Class Photos and Portraits

Dear Senior School Parents,

As you already know, the Labor Government is providing a free school-based vaccination program for Meningococcal W for 15 to 19-year-old school students.

To minimise disruption to classes, this has been scheduled on Thursday, 20th July, which is also our school photo day. Students therefore will be rostered throughout the morning to have their immunisation and their class photos and portraits. On this day we will require all students to be clean shaven (boys), neatly dressed and in full winter uniform.

To facilitate this we need to immunise any particularly nervous students first, so that they have additional privacy and time to compose themselves before class photos. If you are aware that your son or daughter is particularly distressed by immunisations, and you are not taking them independently for their immunisation at Barwon Health, can you please advise Mrs Dianne Martin at Senior School at your earliest convenience.

Mrs Martin can be easily contacted via email at or by telephoning the student office on 5241 1577.

Thank you in anticipation of your support with this.

Mrs Dianne Martin

Deputy Head of Senior School
