Year 3 Science Investigations

The Year 3 students participated in a morning of science investigations.

The students learnt how they can use their experiences to identify questions and make predictions about scientific investigations within a safe environment.
Here are some of the reflections from students in Year 3B about their learning:

“The first thing we did was learn about particles. We learnt that particles in solids are very close together, particles in liquids are further apart and particles in gases are very far apart.” Jayden Chan.

“I learnt that when you poke Oobleck, it reacts as a solid, but when you pick it up it instantly melts and acts like a liquid.” Isabel Carnie.

“I learnt that you can make milk into stone and that it feels like porridge and scrambled eggs.” Axel Dimovski.
