The 'Back Pack Challenge' - World Vision

This year the 40 Hour Famine has changed from giving up food for 40 hours to a 'Backpack Challenge'. In 2017 World Vision wants to raise awareness for the 65.5 million people who have been displaced by conflict around the world, with half of them being children.

The 40 Hour Famine - Backpack Challenge which runs from Friday 11th August – Sunday 13th August, is where you pack food, water, warm clothes and anything else you think you will need to get through the 40 hours. During this time you will be faced with challenges and complications that you will be sent by World Vision via email or text. You can do the 40 Hour Famine - Backpack Challenge at home or with friends anywhere you like. Students across CCG have already signed up for this and it would be amazing if more people joined in to raise awareness and to get sponsored for their efforts with all money raised going to World Vision.

If you are keen to do this sign up on the World vision 40 hour famine website:
