100th Day of School Celebrations - Year 1

Last Thursday was the 100th Day of the 2017 school year.

The Year 1 students celebrated in style, as they proudly shuffled around campus as 100-year-olds. Throughout the year, the students have been learning about place value and, most recently, exploring numbers to 100.

The young Grannies and Grandpas participated in a variety of Literacy and Numeracy activities all themed around '100'. The children wrote about their 100-year-old selves, made creative constructions with 100 Legos, created a 100 book and much more.

The day was filled with fun and laughter, as well as a few aches and pains that come with old age. It was a wonderful way to reinforce the learning that has taken place throughout the year so far.
