Nationally Consistent Collection of Data - School Students with Disability
This week Christian College Geelong has again participated in this compulsory, national collection of data as part of its obligations as a recipient of Australian Government funding.
The data collected is evidence based and reflects the educational adjustments made by the College as a whole, and teachers individually, within their professional practice to enable all students - regardless of ability or disability - to access and participate in the educational provisions offered by our College. The data submitted is non-identifiable but increasingly important to the Australian Government, and indeed our College. As government policy and funding decisions purposed to meet the requirements of the 'Disability Discrimination Act 1992' and the 'Disability Standards for Education 2005' are increasingly, and will definitely be, determined by this process from 2018.
