Year 12 Presentation

Last year we received a clear indication from the Year 12 cohort and their families that they wanted to know how they can better support their child. The VCE and VCAL journey is often a difficult one and students need support. What may that support look like?

We presented a guest speaker last year to unpack that support and it was a most informative evening. This year, the Year 12 coordinators are presenting Darren Perriera, who has been helping students succeed and showing parents how they may support them.

Darren will focus on:

  • Motivation
  • Stress management
  • Study habits and
  • Resilience

The evening is Thursday, 24th August in the Chapel from 6pm to 8pm. We encourage you to attend with your child and I am sure you will find it engaging and worthwhile.

Year 12 LEAD Survey

Our Year 12 students undertook the LEAD Survey today, which provides the College with valuable information on their engagement and relationships with the College, teaching and learning and co-curricular activities. This reinforces our commitment to allowing our students to have input into the College.

Respectful Relations

Our 'Respectful Relations' is launched next Tuesday, 15th August in the Chapel from 7pm and we are all excited to be able to view the film Embrace. The film centres around body image and how we see ourselves and each other. I strongly encourage you to attend.  Please click here for more information.  Also phone Senior School on 5241 1577 to book a seat at this event.

Dairy Pathways Option

Please click here for a brochure on the 2017 Dairy Innovation Program. This is a program that will be run over the upcoming holidays. Two students from Christian College participated last year and benefited greatly from this experience. It's always good to try something different!
