Christian College Equestrian Team

Christian College riders have been competing in several Interschool Equestrian events across the year.

These include the Barwon Interschool Series (BIS), the Victorian Equestrian Interschool Series (VEIS), and the Interschool State Championships.

Riders are awarded placings at each individual event and then across the series of events, with the team to represent Victoria at the National Interschools Championships being selected from performances at ‘qualifying’ events across the year.

Riders from the Senior School Campus who have achieved a level of excellence across the series and or have gained selection in the Victorian team include:

Shanae Jenkinson, Year 11, Champion Barwon Interschool Series (BIS) Dressage, Preliminary Senior.

Shanae Jenkinson, Year 11, Champion VEIS Dressage, Secondary Preliminary, qualified for and will represent the Victorian Equestrian team.

Charlotte Sheldon, Interschool Eventing, EVA95, Champion, qualified for and will represent the Victorian Equestrian team.

Eventing includes rounds of competition in three disciplines of Dressage, Showjumping and Cross Country.

Shanae and Charlotte will be travelling to Toowoomba in September to represent their College and the State at the National Interschool Equestrian Championships.

This is a tremendous achievement of which the girls can be extremely proud, we wish them well and look forward to hearing of their experience and results on their return.
