National Science Week at Senior School

Senior School rounded off a week of activities to celebrate National Science Week with our inaugural Science Breakfast. After delicious croissants and cakes, staff and students were engrossed in a talk given by Richard Fry who is a local farmer but also a world leader in animal breeding. Richard’s own life story captures perfectly the message: make the most of your opportunities in an area you are passionate about. He encouraged the students to look on science as a career that will enthral and challenge. However, don’t think that means your life will be mapped out – because you probably won’t end up doing what you thought you would. And that, in itself, is part of the excitement….......
