JLTAV State Japanese Speech Contest - Congratulations

Last Sunday, the annual JLTAV state-wide Japanese Speech Contest was held in Melbourne.

It was a showcase of a wide range of brilliant speeches and role plays presented by more than 150 participants from Prep to Year 10 across Victoria. The judges commented that the standard of their language skills was outstanding.

Seven students from our College participated in the contest. We are very proud of them all for their dedication and hard work in preparation, and their excellent language skills and confident delivery. From our Campus, Georgia Odd won the third prize in the Year 5 and 6 individual category and Paige Butteriss and Jordan Smith won the third prize in the Year 7 and 8 pair category.

We congratulate Georgia, Paige and Jordan on their great achievements and extend a warm thank you to their parents for taking the time on a weekend to support this event.
