Project Care - Toucan Appeal

In the past, Christian College Junior School Campus families have been very generous in supporting the 'Toucan Appeal', which supports the Geelong Food Relief Centre.

Geelong Food Relief Centre is a not-for-profit, charitable co-operative of welfare agencies serving the Geelong, Bellarine, Surf Coast and Winchelsea areas. The appeal began as a way for local schools to support the charity by each student donating “two cans”, but the need for other non-perishable items is also important.

For this Toucan Appeal, the Food Relief Centre requires items such as: canned soups, stews, baked beans, pasta in sauce, sauces, dressings, jams, vegemite, peanut butter, canned fruit, coffee, tea, milo, sugar, honey, UHT milk, instant pasta packs, noodle packs, rice meals, shampoo, conditioner etc. If your family would like to support this appeal, please bring along any donations to the foyer where there will be a table to place items. Items can be donated at any time until the end of Term.
