Book Week - Escape to Everywhere

During Book Week last week, students at Bellarine celebrated a wonderful week of reading, literature activities, fun and escapes into other lands – both real and imaginary.

Literature and reading were the focus of Book Week in many ways: competitions, art, maker spaces activities, a photo booth, a screening of the award-winning movie ‘The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore’, and even the opportunity for students to spend time in Christian College Bellarine’s very own airport departure lounge (with flights to many wonderful destinations)!  This all culminated in our Junior School book character dress-up day and parade last Thursday, and made for a wonderful week of celebration!

As a part of their English curriculum, all Middle School students at Bellarine have also been appreciating the opportunity to read literature of their choice in the welcoming space of the library.

The library staff at Christian College Bellarine would like to take this opportunity to thank students and their families for their enthusiasm and support so far this term.  We look forward to continuing to build a love of literature with you all!
